A: Purpose and Scope

The Production Test Operator will follow routine procedures for testing of packaged and wafer level parts performing test department light equipment maintenance and other duties as assigned



B. Responsibilities

The Production Test Operator has the following responsibilities:
Operate parts handlers performing routine tests, reconfigure test fixturing, inspect parts for marking and lead alignment, keep track of all passing and failing product.
Operate tape and reel system, laser trimmers and wafer level testers per established procedures.
Perform special tasks from time to time and general test department maintenance and cleaning as needed.
Operation of several automated tools simultaneously is required. When testing parts, strict adherence to procedures and test protocols is essential.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:


A. Education and Training
High school degree or equivalent is required. Must be able to use computer.



B. Technical Requirements
The Production Test Operator is required to complete a supervised training program as well as read and understand any pertinent training or Test Department procedural manuals. Familiarity with PC’s and office software is required. Good mechanical skills to resolve minor machine problems is also required.



C. Experience
Prior experience with light mechanical maintenance of automated equipment is desired. Some understanding of basic electricity would be helpful but is not required.

As an order selector you will be responsible for accurately selecting, loading and palletizing customer orders to ready them for transport. Attendance and productivity are crucial to be successful in this position.


Education / Experience Required:
